| Text | Abstract - SPRINGDALE --- Emma June Stiles, 88, died May 8, 2005, at Springdale. She was born June 14, 1917, in Golden, MO, to Oscar L. and Dora (Roberts) Horine. She resided in the Golden community for 74 years, moving to Springdale in 1991 to be close to family. She was a member of Golden Baptist Church, and was a charter member of the Mark Twain Extension Club and the Golden Circle Shores. She taught Sunday school until she was 77, and was a member of Elmdale Baptist Church of Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsal Stiles, and by her son-in-law, Bill Fogg. Survivors include one daughter, three sons, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Baptist Church. Burial will be in Viney Cemetery in Golden under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville, MO. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the Golden Baptist Church or Viney Cemetery in care of the funeral home. |
