| Text | Mrs. Jean Stephens, 84 years old, Exeter, died Tuesday morning in a Monett nursing home. Born July 8, 1883, Mrs. Stephens had been a lifelong resident of Barry County. She was a member of the Christian church. Survivors include five sons, Joe Stephens, Ponca City, Okla., Albert Stephens, Burbank, Calif., Jack Stephens, Marve Stephens, and Bill Stephens, all of Exeter, Mo; four daughters, Mrs. Jessie DeBross, Monett, Mo., Mrs. Bonnie Bradford, Bell, Calif., Mrs, Fredalene Smith, Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Ruby Stoops, San Fernando, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Culver funeral chapel at Cassville. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery. |
