Text | Debra (Marshall) Stephens, age 52, of Cassville, Mo., formerly of Kansas City, passed away Monday, December 5, 2005, in her home. She was born October 4, 1953, in Kansas City, the daughter of Dale R. and Patricia (Link) Marshall. On March 20, 1976, she was united in marriage to James W. Stephens, who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Chris Stephens and Jeff Stephens; her parents, Dale and Patricia (Link) Marshall, and four sisters, Janet Anderson, Susan Lagergren, Becky Henfling, and Nancy Phillips. Debra received her education in Kansas City, where she graduated from high school and attended college. She resided in Japan, North Carolina, Tennessee and California, while James was in the military. On July 4, 1992, she moved to Cassville to make her home. For the last thirteen years, she worked as principal secretary at the Cassville High School. She enjoyed NASCAR and Kansas City Chiefs, but her main interests were her close friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, (12/8/2005), in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville. There will be no visitation.
