CAD M. STEPHENS, 93 years old lifelong Washburn area resident, died at 11o'clock Friday morning in South Barry county hospital where she had been a patient for five days. Mrs. Stephens was born January 9, 1875, near Washburn. She was a member of the Washburn Baptist church and the order of the Eastern Star at Washburn. There are no immediate survivors. Services were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Culver funeral home chapel in Cassville with the Rev. C.F. Siler officiating. Burial was in Washburn Prairie Cemetery.
