Highbarger in 1906; to this union were born ten children, three of whom are living, J. W., and L. P. Highbarger and Mrs. Maud Carden. After the death of her former husband in 1894, she was married to Aaron Starnes, who survives her. In the passing of Mrs. Starnes her husband has lost a good wife, the children a good mother and the community will feel the loss of a kind friend and neighbor, who was always willing to minister to those in need of help. For years she had been a member of the Christian Church, and her daily life proved that she walked with the meek and lowly Nazarene. Many friends gathered to pay the last tribute of respect to this departed one, where funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. S. McQueen and she was laid to rest in the Muncey Chapel Cemetery.
