| Text | EXETER, Mo. --- Lois Marie Starkey, 87, of Exeter died May 26, 2005, at St. John’s in Cassville, Mo. She was born Feb. 5, 1918, in Palco, Kan., to Leonard and Martha Carrier Duckworth. She was a homemaker, a cattle farmer and grew grapes and peaches. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Exeter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan Osburn Starkey, on Jan. 26, 2003. Survivors include one daughter, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time today at the funeral home. |
