| Text | Edward Starkey, 38, native of Barry County passed away Monday at his home in Fulton where he had lived the past few years. He had been reported in poor health since his return from the service in World War II. On leaving here for Fulton he was employed by a shoe company there and was an attendant at the State Hospital. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lorene Darity Starkey, two sons, his parents, Josh Starkey of Springfield; two brothers, five sisters and his grandmother Mrs. Nora Starkey of Cassville. Funeral services will be conducted at the Culver Chapel at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. |
