| Text | Annie Lou Stapleton, 105, of Cassville, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, in her home. She was born Feb.12, 1904, in Kountze, Texas, the daughter of Henrey and Nancy (Daniel) Shepard. On Feb. 14, 1948, she was united in marriage to Robert Stapleton, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers. She grew up and received her education in Texas. She worked in accounts payable as a bookkeeper for White House Dry Goods in Beaumont, Texas, several years. Thirty-four years ago, she moved from Texas to Cassville to make her home. She was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ, Cassville. Funeral services were held Sunday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Mark Meadows conducted the services. Graveside services were held Tuesday in Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, Texas, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. |
