Headline Rites For Mrs. Standard At Monett Saturday
Text Monett, Mo., March 4 - Funeral services for Mrs. Lela Annabelle Standard, 45 years old, who died at 4:30 Wednesday afternoon at Burge Hospital at Springfield, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Mercer funeral home chapel. The Rev. Dr. Willis Perryman, superintendent of the Joplin district of Methodist churches and the Rev. Perry Rowland of Neosho will officiate.

Burial will be in Monett I. O. O. F. cemetery.

Vesper services will be conducted at 4:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Monett First Methodist church.

Wife of the Rev. Forest Standard, pastor of the First Methodist church of Monett, Mrs. Standard was born in Montier, Mo., and received her bachelor of arts degree from Drury college in Springfield and a bachelor of library science degree from Peabody college in Nashville, Tenn.

She was married to Mr. Standard in Montier in 1933, and together they served in churches in El Dorado Springs, Marshfield and Webb City. They had been in Monett since 1951.

Mrs. Standard was a member of the W. S. C. S., circle No. 3, and P. E. O. Sisterhood of Monett, and she served as co-ordinator of the Wesleyan Service Guild and district secretary of missionary personnel of the W. S. C. S. She also was a member of the Monett Mother's Club.

Surviving besides her husband, are a son, Lee, and a daughter, Judy, both of the home; three brothers, Wilfred E. Gould of Morrison, Ill., Kenneth Gould of Lexington, Ky., and John R. Gould of Dunbar, Neb., and four sisters, Mrs. Orin Butcher of Birch Tree, Mo., Mrs. J. W. Sparlin and Mrs. Elmer Blase of St. Louis and Mrs. S. L. Provow of Teresita, Mo.
