Text | Mrs. A. Sooter, who lived in Old Town, was found dead in bed by her husband when he awoke Thursday morning. Death is believed to have been due to a hemorrhage. Coroner Boucher will hold an inquest this afternoon. The deceased was a young woman and since the birth of a child several days ago had been quite ill. Monett Times. Research Note: Callaway Funeral Home Records state that Mrs. A. Suitor's funeral was 29 Sept 1904 at the house at 8:30 AM, and that she died 28 Sept. 1904. The cause of death was morphine, she was married and died in Barry Co., MO. It states that she was buried at Corsicana but no other data is given. Archie C. Sooter, age 21, married Mary A. Cogzill, age 19 on Dec. 25, 1902, in Barry Co., MO. She was a daughter of James Cogzill and Rebecca Louisa Stephens. |
