Text | Abraham Lincoln Snook was born in Bolivar, Mo., Feb. 6, 1884 and died at his home near Wayne Dec. 15, 1929. He was 45 years, 10 months and 7 days at the time of his passing. He moved to Barry county with his parents when six years old. He and Amy Michael were married, Oct. 9, 1904. To this union seven children were born, who are Elmer of near Wayne, and Mrs. Oma Lee of Exeter, George, Harold, Garland, Marie and Wentford all at home. He leaves his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Snook of Fayetteville, Ark. His wife and children, two brothers and two sisters who are Farmer of Monett and Bob of Exeter, Mrs. Ben Hawkins of Anderson and Mrs. Stanley Barnhart of Seminole, Okla., to mourn his passing. He was a good man and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Vanzandt Monday afternoon. The remains were laid to rest in the Maplewood Cemetery at Exeter.
