Mrs. Snodgrass, who is about 85 years old, had accompanied her relative, Orzo Arnold of Seneca to his home for a visit with his family. She apparently was in good health as her death was unexpected. She had not complained of any ailments previous to her untimely passing. Mrs. Snodgrass had lived in the Seligman community many years and was on of the oldest citizens of that section of the county. She leaves several children to mourn her passing. She was an excellent woman and was greatly loved by all her acquaintances. The remains were conveyed to her old home at Seligman, interment made in the cemetery at where funeral services were held and that place. The Arnold family came from Franklin Co., TN to Barry County. John Samuel Arnold's estate was settled in 1852 in Barry County, naming his children. |
