Text | Cassville, Mo., Feb. 9 - John Lee Smithson, 88 years old, a retired farmer who resided in the Exeter community 50 years died yesterday in his home. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hallie Smithson of the home; two sons, Earl Smithson and Bert Smithson of Exeter; three stepsons Bill Stanton and Ted Stanton of Fontana, Calif., and Thomas Stanton of Ontario, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. L. R. Packwood of Exeter and Mrs. Ralph Roseberry of Fort Townsend, Okla.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Nellie Campbell of Downey, Calif., Mrs. Belle Harold of Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. Clark Bowman of Cassville; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Culver funeral home of Cassville. |
