| Text | Exeter, Mo. – Linzie Smith, 73, Exeter route 1, died at 5:20 a.m. Friday at South Barry County Hospital, Cassville, where he had been a patient two and a half weeks. Mr. Smith was born Sept. 8, 1900, at Golden. He was a member of Ridgley Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mattie Robbins Smith, whom he married Feb. 20, 1921; two sons; two daughters; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Culver Funeral Service, Inc., Cassville. The Rev. Alvin Perkins and the Rev. A. M. Edie will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter. |
