Text | Mrs. Eldora Smith, wife of J. E. (James Edward) Smith living west of town, died Saturday evening Nov. 13, 1920 at 5:30 p.m., following an illness of tuberculosis for which she had suffered for more than a year. The deceased was a daughter Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Pant of Wheaton and was born June 4, 1887 in Newton county. Funeral services were held at Rocky Comfort Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Harding. Mrs. Smith was a woman of many virtues with a large number of friends who have suffered the loss of one they held in high esteem. She is survived by a husband, three children, four sisters, a brother and a father and mother who have the sympathy of the entire community. |
