| Text | Aretha, the bright little 10 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith departed this life Thursday evening, Aug. 23rd after a three weeks illness of typhoid fever. Besides a father and mother, she leaves three sisters and one brother. Her remains were taken to their former home at Lanigan, for interment. Her grandmother Smith of Lanigan, was with her when the end came. Her uncle Jack and aunt Angie Charles attended the funeral. Retha was a bright little girl and was loved by all who knew her an will be sadly missed by her friends and school mates. The bereaved parents have our sympathy. |
