Text | Woodrow W. Skelton, 91, of Seligman, died January 16 at Red Rose Inn in Cassville. Mr. Skelton was born December 15, 1913, in Sugar Creek Township in Barry County, the son of Nathan and Olive Noble Skelton. He was a carpenter and a member of the First Baptist Church in Seligman. He married Virginia Opal Roller on April 2, 1938, in Exeter, and she preceded him in death September 11, 1992. Survivors include two sons, two daughters, eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, two nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Private burial will be in New Salem Cemetery in Seligman under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, January 19, at the funeral home. |
