Text | The telegraph wires brought sad news here of the death of Phillip R. Simpson, 29, to his wife, Mrs. Norma Simpson here Thursday. He was lost in the fighting in France and had been in the service two and a half years and formerly lived west of Exeter. The message was from the Adjutant General of the Army. Besides Mrs. Simpson, he is survived by three children, Winfred, Ann Elizabeth and Richard who have been in Cassville with their mother since he entered the service. |
