Text | Mrs. Mary A. Sills, wife of Rev. J. C. Sills, died Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock after a lingering illness of several months, age 66 years. The decease was taken ill from consumption last October and since that time she had been a constant sufferer and unable to leave her bed. Mrs. Sills was known throughout Barry County, was a woman of a lovable disposition, having nothing but kind words for all her friends and acquaintances. The husband and five children were present when death came to claim a loving wife and fond mother whose life had been one constant endeavor to lift up where help was needed. The deceased leaves five children all of whom are residents of Barry County, Fred and Charles, Mrs. Addie Ray, Mrs. Minnie Brattin and Mrs. Eva Earle. The husband for many years and the family have sincere sympathy of every friend and acquaintance in their loss. The funeral services where held at the Baptist church, Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock, services in charge of Rev. C. M. Smith. Interment was made in the Cassville Cemetery. |
