Text | Services for Mrs. Myrtle Shrum, 65, Washburn who died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the Missouri State Sanatorium at Mount Vernon where she had been a patient a week, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Culver Chapel, Cassville. Brother Homer Burns will officiate. Burial will be in King Cemetery. Mrs. Shrum was born Nov. 5, 1904, in Barry County. She was a member of the O. K. Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her husband, Melvin Shrum; two daughters and two sons; two brothers, Frank Fletcher, Jenkins, Mo., and Harold Fletcher, Garfield, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Banks, Washburn; two half-sisters, Mrs. Nellie Cargile, Granby, and Mrs. Katherine Pendergraft, Washburn, and 12 grandchildren.
