Hear failure is given as the cause. A neighbor family with a little child and stopped at the Shoemaker home for a short time and Mr. Shoemaker sad down on the door step to play with the little child when he fell over dead. Funeral services were held at the Clay Hill cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by a Methodist minister of Aurora. Interment was made in the cemetery at Clay Hill. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Ballay of Monett, and three sons: Ernest and Joshua who lives in Texas and Lloyd of near Madry.
