| Text | Bulah "Boots" Shoemaker, age 80, of Monett, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at Lacoba Nursing Center in Monett, following a brief illness. She was born Nov. 10, 1925, in Galena, to the late Ray and Annie (Sims) Williams. She was a housewife. She married James Shoemaker on Feb. 7, 1944, in Mt. Home Arkansas, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 2004. Funeral services were held Saturday, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel with Rev. Arnold Ray Evans officiating. Burial was at the Calton Cemetery under direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Memorials are to be made to Lacoba Nursing Center in care of the funeral home. |
