| Text | Abstract Jeral Leslie Shirley, 56, of Monett, died at 11:05 a.m. August 31 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin following a long illness. Mr. Shirley was born April 22, 1945, in Purdy. He was a machinist for Dwyer Enterprises in Neosho for 18 years and a member of the First Christian Church in Purdy. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil William Shirley; and one sister, Leoma Michael. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 8, at the First Christian Church in Purdy with Bert Ward, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Butterfield under the direction of Clark Funeral Home of Neosho. |
