Text | James Leroy Shipman died at Pierce City, Sunday night, April 28, at the age of 32 years and 22 days of miners consumption. He was buried at the Pierce City cemetery April 30th, by the I. O. O. F. Lodge. Rev. Bert Smith conducted the funeral services. He leaves a sorrowing mother, M. A. Shipman, three brothers, Bert, Irvin and John, also one sister, Lillie, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn their loss. His smiling face will be missed by his loved ones, but their loss is Heaven’s gain. May God be with the bereaved ones in their hour of sorrow. |
