| Text | Elsie Shepherd Elsie Gladys Shepherd, 95, of Verona, died at 9:38 a.m. yesterday, January 11, at her home following a brief illness. Miss Shepherd was born January 8, 1905, in Cape Fair, the daughter of George and Martha (King) Shepherd. She was a retired housekeeper. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 14, at Kings Prairie Cemetery near Monett with Rev. Bill Young officiating under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. |
