| Text | The Republican extends it sympathy to A. C. Autry and family of Corsicana. It was but a short time ago they were called upon to bury the wife and mother and last week two of the Autry children died, also John A. Shaw, father of the late Mrs. Autry. Mr. Shaw was an old resident of Barry County and highly respected. Research Note: John A. Shaw Husband of Nancy Shaw Born Apr. 7, 1828 Died Jan. 18, 1892 Donna Cooper's Note: At the age of 36, he enrolled Co. L, 76th EMM 2/11/1863 in Cassville (31 days). Enrolled Co. G, 7th PEMM 4/1/1863 at Mt. Vernon (15 days) He was in Captain William Ray's Co. L, 76th Missouri Militia and was listed as a private. |
