Headline THOMAS J. SCOTT DIES SUDDENLY
Cattle Salesman Succumbs at Home -- Funeral This Afternoon
Text Thomas J. Scott, a cattle salesman on the Kansas City market for the last 20 years, died rather suddenly at his home, 3531 Brooklyn Avenue at 6 o'clock last night. While Mr. Scott had been ill for some time, his condition was not considered serious, as he had been on duty at the yards as late as Wednesday of this week.

Mr. Scott was born near Greenfield in Dade county, Mo., 52 years ago, where he lived on a farm until he came to Kansas City Live Stock Exchange. He was also a Mason. Besides his wife, three daughters, one of whom is married, survive.

Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the family residence. The body will be sent to Lockwood, Mo., where burial will take place under the auspice of the Masonic order tomorrow afternoon.
