| Text | Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at the Culver Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Maple D. Scott, a former resident of the Washburn community who passed away Tuesday, March 3, at a Rest Home in Bentonville, Ark. She was 75 years of age. Survivors include two sons, Major, formerly with the Rush Canning Co., in Cassville and Jay both of Ft. Smith, Ark; four grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and two sisters. Rev. Chas. VanZandt will officiate and burial will be in the Washburn Prairie Cemetery under direction of Culver’s.
