Text | Dollie F. Schell, 81, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in Mercy Hospital, Cassville.
She was born September 13, 1930, in Wheaton, Missouri, the daughter of George and Bertha (Henson) Thomas. On May 8, 1950, in Bentonville, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Billy Wayne Schell, who preceded her in death on December 9, 1996. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Donna Stephens and one son, Gary Schell. Survivors include: one daughter, Ann Ennes and her husband, Bobby, of Cassville, Missouri; one son, Billy Gene Schell, of Mora, Minnesota; one son-in-law, James Stephens, of Cassville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Michelle Cummings and her husband, Andrew, Tara Goldburg and her husband Adam, Misty Bomar and her husband, Nick, Robbie Ennes and Kyle Schell and his wife, Renee; and six great-grandchildren. Dollie grew up in Southwest Missouri and was a graduate of Purdy High School. She and her husband owned and operated Great Plains Construction, putting in pipe lines throughout the United States. They also owned Schell Trailer Court in Cassville. Decorating their Sherwood Forrest home for people to see at Christmas was probably what they were most known for in the Cassville and surrounding area. She attended Cassville First Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2012, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. James Weaver conducted the services. Burial was at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, Washburn, Missouri. |
