Schell, 76, of Washburn died June 6, 2004, at her home. She was born June 4, 1928, in Washburn to Franklin P. and Blanche (Watson) Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl S. Schell who preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1991, and by one granddaughter, Angel Lakey. She was a lifetime resident of Barry County and was a graduate of Washburn High School. She owned and managed Four Sisters' Antiques and Dress Shop and Chris' drive-in, both in Washburn. She was a sales representative for Traveler's Motor Club for several years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Celestia 8 in Cassville, Mo., and the First Baptist Church in Washburn. Survivors include on son, four daughters; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Washburn under thee direction of Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville. The Rev. Glenn Erwin will officiate. Burial will be in Washburn Prairie Cemetery. |
