| Text | Abstract Susie Sapp, 85, of Lee's Summit, formerly of Cassville, died September 6 at Lee's Summit Hospital. Mrs. Sapp was born February 16, 1915, in Shell Knob, the daughter of W. C. and Lou A. (Epperly) Cooper. She lived most of her life in Barry County, worked 19 years as a bookkeeper for Exeter Farmer's Exchange, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Exeter. She lived the past four years in Lee's Summit. She married Lois E. Sapp on September 30, 1933, in Barry County, and he preceded her in death on October 9, 1990. Survivors include two daughters, of Lee's Summit and of Centerview; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lowell Cooper and Harden Cooper; and one sister, Opal Sapp. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, September 9, at Calvary Baptist Church in Exeter with Rev. Robert Brendlinger and Rev. Jean Latshaw officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, September 8, at the funeral home. |
