| Text | Nathan Santee, 83, of Cassville, died at 1:50 a.m. June 15, 2000, at Freeman Neosho Hospital. Mr. Santee was born August 8, 1916, in Rocky Comfort, and was a son of Charley and Nannie (Cloud) Santee. He attended high school in Stella, moved to Cassville in 1943 where he owned and operated a gas service station until retiring in 1968, and was a Baptist. He married Opal Long on August 2, 1940, and she survives. Additional survivors include three nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Services were 11 a.m. today, June 19, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Jerry Nickle and Rev. Cliff Mizer officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
