| Text | Mrs. Baird Sampson, wife of W. B. Sampson, of Rocky Comfort, died at her home in that city last Saturday evening, September 22, 1923. Death followed an operation, which had been performed a few days previous. Baird Ford was born Jan. 10, 1808 and was married to W. B. Sampson Sept. 25, 1915. She departed this life Sept. 22, 1923 at the age of 25 years, eight months and 12 days. She professed faith in Christ at the age of 14 years and united with the Baptist Church at Rocky Comfort. Besides a husband, she is survived by a father and mother, a brother and sister, and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. C. Tichenor Sunday afternoon at the Baptist Church and the body was buried at the cemetery at that place. |
