Text | Eugenie M. Rutledge, age 90, of
Monett, died at 11:05 a.m. yesterday, December 21, at Monett Health Care
Center following a long illness. Mrs. Rutledge was born November 13, 1910, in St. James, the daughter of Felix and June (Cuendet) Magnin. She was a retired school teacher and had taught school in Texas and New Mexico. She was a member of the Waldensian Presbyterian Church south of Monett. She married Jack Rutledge, and he preceded her in death in 1972. Survivors include two brothers, Arthur Magnin and Alfred Magnin, both of Purdy. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, December 23, at Waldensian Cemetery south of Monett with Rev. Wade Ditty officiating under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today, December 22, at the funeral home. |
