| Text | Lorene Rupp, 71, of Purdy, died at 11:43 a.m.
October 7 at her home. Mrs. Rupp was born April 2, 1934, in Verona, the daughter of Ray Homer and Martha Ann (Sims) Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Stones Prairie. She married Leland J. Rupp on June 10, 1952, in Monett, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, one daughter, two brothers, two sisters, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Randy Rupp; and two brothers, Jack and Loren Williams. Services were 2 p.m. today, October 10, at St. John's Lutheran Church at Stones Prairie with Rev. John Roach officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
