Rumbaugh, 71, 829 South Choctaw, and resident of Bartlesville for the past
15 years, died at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday in the Forrest Manor where he had
been a resident for the past two weeks. Funeral services for Mr. Rumbaugh will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the graveside in the Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, Beside the grave of Charlotte McAllister Rumbaugh. Committal Prayers and interment will be directed by the Arnold Moore Funeral Service. A native of Missouri, Rumbaugh was born in Lawrence County on Feb. 10, 1915, at Verona. He was the son of the late Myrtle M. Teel Rumbaugh and Ernest A. Rumbaugh. He began his elementary education at Monett, Missouri and completed his high school education when he was graduated with the Senior Class of Tulsa Central High School in 1934. He and the former Charlotte McAllister were married on March 29, 1940 and she preceded him in death in Tulsa in December, 1962. Rumbaugh was retired in 1962 as production engineer with the __eismograph Service Corporation of Tulsa following twenty years service connection. |
