Obit For Myrtle Mae (Teel) Rumbaugh
Headline MRS. E. A. RUMBAUGH DIES
Text Mrs. E. A. Rumbaugh, 46 years old, who had hovered between life and death for the past month, died at 10:45 o'clock Wednesday night, June 29, 1927.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist church at Monett. Friday afternoon, July 1, at 2 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Fred B. Kinell. Burial will be made in the New Site cemetery.

Mrs. Myrtle May Rumbaugh was born near Monett July 26, 1880. Her father, Robert Teel, died fifteen years ago and her mother, Mrs. Celina Teel lives near Monett.

She was married to Ernest A. Rumbaugh January 22, 1905, and was the mother of five children, who are Teel, Fern, Bonnie Mae and Richmond, all at home, and one child who died at the age of two years.

She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. E. C. Browning, Monett; Mrs. P.A. Rumbaugh, Claremore, Okla; Mrs. Z. H. Holmes and Mrs. Brit Goodnight, of near Monett; three brothers, Ora Teel, of Peirce City; Leonard Teel, of near Monett, and Will Teel, of Melrose, N.M. One sister, Mrs. ___ Russell died in 1926 and a brother, Rich Teel, died several years ago.

The family has lived at various places and came to Monett several years ago, where Mr. Rumbaugh established the studio, which he now operates.

Mrs. Rumbaugh was a woman of lovely character and devoted to her home and family.
