| Headline | Ernest Rumbaugh Dies Here Sunday Father of Mrs. Ancil Welch had Made Home here for the Past Three Years. |
| Text | Ernest A. Rumbaugh, 74, who had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Ancil Welch, for the past
three years, died Sunday morning at five o'clock at the Aurora Hospital,
where he had been a patient for two days. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Rumbaugh had operated a photographic studio in Monett for more than 35 years. Surviving besides Mrs. Welch are, another daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Hendrix of Los Angeles, Calif., 2 sons, Teel Rumbaugh of Toledo, O., and Richmond Rumbaugh of Tulsa, Okla., and a sister, Mrs. Fred West of Melrose New Mexico. Funeral services will be conducted at the Buchanan Funeral Chapel in Monett on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. Fred McPhail, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Aurora, will officiate. Burial will be in the New Site cemetery south of Monett. |
