| Headline | Mrs. Millie Rouse Rites To Be At Monett Sunday |
| Text | Monett, Mo., Dec. 31 - Funeral services for Mrs. Millie Rouse, 92 years old, will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the First Christian Church. The Rev. Chester Werbin will officiate. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. cemetery under direction of Mercer funeral home. Mrs. Rouse, a resident of Monett 30 years, died at 4:55 o'clock this morning in her home, 906 Fifth street, after an illness of three weeks. Mrs. Rouse operated a grocery and meat market in Mount Vernon with her husband for many years and farmed in Cassville community before moving to Monett. She maintained her own home and lived alone. She was a member of the First Christian church of Monett. Surviving are a son, Clifford Rouse of Long Beach, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Emma Whaley of Mount Vernon, Mrs. Eva Blankenship of Long Beach and Mrs. Alvin Bradford of Monett; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. |
