Text | Washburn, Mo. - Services for Mrs. Nancy L. Rose, 90 years old, Washburn
route 1, who died at 7:40 o'clock Tuesday night at her home following an
illness of several weeks, will be at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the
Culver chapel at Cassville. The Rev. C. M. Howell and the Rev. Charles Vanzandt will officiate. Burial will be in Kings cemetery near Washburn. Mrs. Rose was born February 9, 1879, in Arkansas and had lived in the Washburn area for the last 70 years. She was a member of the Prairie Hill Baptist church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wyatt Lawson, Washburn, and Mrs. Donald Wilson, Cassville; four sons, Lemma L. Rose, Jeff Rose, and Nello Rose, all of Washburn, and Johnny Rose, Seligman, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Belle Clontz, Ogden, Utah; a brother, Hurstle Bowman, Joplin; 45 grandchildren, 126 great-grandchildren, and 49 great-great-grandchildren.
