Text | Jimmie Clee Rose, 63, Washburn, died Friday, Dec. 12, 1997, at his home after a long illness. He was born Jan. 30, 1934, at Washburn, to Lemma Lester and Ola (Pippin) Rose. He was a truck driver for Crystal Springs Trout Farm for 19 years. He was also a dairy farmer. He was a member of the Prairie Hill Baptist Church, Washburn. He married Shirley Catron on Aug. 10, 1953, at Exeter. She survives. Additional survivors include two sons, two daughters, three brothers, seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great- grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Lionel Rose, Billie Joe Rose and Max Arlis Rose; and two sisters, Nina Ola Belle Rose and Eva Mae Dalton. Services were Sunday at Williamson Funeral Home, Cassville. John Rose officiated. Burial was in King Cemetery, Seligman. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home. |
