| Text | Dorothy Faye Rose, 81, of Springfield, Mo., went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 27, 2007. She was born in Washburn, Mo., to Ray and Audrey (Watson) Stewart on May 6, 1926. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dennie Rose, of the home; one daughter and her husband, one grandson, one granddaughter, three great-grandsons, two step-great- grandsons, one brother, and a host of extended family and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bill Stewart. Visitation will be at 12 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2007, at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. A memorial services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Yarnall officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Hospice, 1378 E. Republic Road, Springfield, MO 65804. |
