| Text | Dennie W. Rose October 23, 1921 - November 29, 2010 Dennie W. Rose, 89, of Springfield, MO, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 29, 2010. He was born in Washburn, MO on October 23, 1921, to Lemmie and Ola (Pippin) Rose. Dennie is survived by his daughter and her husband, one grandson, one grand-daughter, three great-grandsons and two step-great-grandsons, all of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by three sisters; two brothers; and a host of extended family and friends. Dennie was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Dorothy Faye (Stewart) Rose, his parents, three brothers; Lionel, Jim and Max; and two sisters, Eva Mae, and Mary. Visitation will be at 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 PM. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO. Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Hospice, or an organization of your choice. |
