Text | Robbie Lucinda Roller, 86,
of Monett, died at 12:53 p.m. yesterday, June 18, at Lacoba Nursing Home in
Monett. Mrs. Roller was born May 21, 1914, in Republic, the daughter of Adolphus Alonzo and Addie Bethel (Ingler) Pearce. She was a teller at the Gillioz, later UMB Bank in Monett for 31 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Monett for over 68 years, where she was a member of the choir. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a 50 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She married Burl H. Roller on August 11, 1935, in Purdy, and he preceded her in death March 24, 1993. Survivors include one daughter, of Springfield; four grandchildren, all of Springfield, and of Wellsville, Kansas; three great grandchildren; and three friends who cared for her, Ruth Meier, Carolyn Wilson, and Vickie Deeter. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Rev. John Johnson and Rev. Hubert Lines officiating. Burial will be in Monett IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, June 20, at the funeral home. |
