#1. Faye Fontella Roller,
89, of Purdy, died at 6:30 a.m. today, January 12, at her home following a
long illness. Mrs. Roller was born November 5, 1911, in Purdy, the daughter of Arch and Tisha (Smith) Mackey. She was retired from Jumping-Jacks Shoes in Monett and was a homemaker. She was a member of Arnhart Baptist Church near Purdy. She married Loyd Roller on March 1, 1930, and he preceded her in death September 6, 1983. Survivors include two sons, of Neosho; one daughter, of Purdy; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 15, at Arnhart Baptist Church near Purdy with Rev. James Carter and Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Burial will be in Arnhart Cemetery under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 14, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church. #2. Services for Faye Fontella Roller, 89, of Purdy, who died January 12, were held at 1 p.m. January 14 at Arnhart Baptist Church near Purdy with Rev. James Carter and Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Music was provided by soloist Jan Mahurin who sang I'll Meet You In The Morning, What A Day, and Beulah Land. Pianist was Alysha Marshall. Casketbearers were Rick Roller, Jerry Roller, Caleb Antle, Randy Roller, Kent Antle, Tyler Hemphill, and Jacob Pim. Burial was in Arnhart Cemetery near Purdy under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. |
