| Text | Oren Noel Roby was born Feb. 29, 1856, near Shepherdsville, Ky. He passed away March 9, 1943, aged 87 years and 9 days. He was converted at an early age and was a consistent Christian man. He lived in Cassville for a number of years and later moved to near Exeter where he died. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, March 11, at Exeter, conducted by Rev. Chas Vanzandt. Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery, at Exeter. Flower girls were Viva Thompson, Lora Edens, Effie Stubblefield, and Ruby Lee. Pall bearers were: Cliff Stubblefield, Ernest Lee; Lennie Thompson, Ted Searl, Otis Eden and Olen Antle.
