Text | Funeral services for Willie Robberson 71-year old rural Cassville resident, who died Tuesday January 24, 1961 in the home of a brother, O. E. Robberson of Titusville, Fla., were held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon in the Williamson chapel. The Rev. Calvin Henderson officiated and burial was in Oak Hill cemetery. Born December 24, 1889, in Barry county, he had lived most of his life in Pierce City and Cassville community. For more than 20 years he was a horse and mule buyer for Owens brothers in Pierce City. He retired in 1955, and returned to the Cassville area. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. His wife, Mrs. Mary Brown Robberson passed away four months ago. Surviving are two other brothers, F. G. Robberson of Mammouth, Ill., and Leo Robberson of Cassville, and two sisters, Mrs. Jim Jefferson of Monett and Mrs. Amy McNabb of Cassville. |
