Obit For Artie Mary (Wormington) Robberson
Headline RITES HELD SUNDAY FOR MRS. A. ROBBERSON
Text Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church for Mrs. Artie Robberson, 85, longtime resident of Purdy who died at her home Thursday afternoon following a lingering illness. The Rev. Winford Davis and Rev. Albion Erickson officiated at the service and burial was in the New Site Cemetery.

Born February 14, 1878, Mrs. Robberson was married to Elmon Robberson in 1902, and had lived near Purdy for the past 55 years. Her husband died on November 2, 1959. She was a member of the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Phillip Arnaud of Monett, Miss Willie Robberson of the home, Mrs. Eugene Gates of Purdy, Mrs. Manard Swaffar of Torrence, California, Mrs. U. M. Henderson of Wellington, Calif., Mrs. W. A. Wright of Cassville, and Mrs.. John Swaffar of Monett; two sons, Ross Robberson of Purdy and Harlan Robberson of Harbor City, California; one brother Ennis Wormington of Monett; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
