| Headline | PURDY RESIDENT DIED MONDAY IN HOSPITAL |
| Text | Funeral services were held 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon at the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church for A. E. Robberson of Purdy, who died Monday afternoon in St. Vincent’s Hospital. Rev. Winford Davis and Rev. Albion Erickson officiated at the final rites. Music was furnished by a quartet composed of Rev. Winford Davis, Rev. Albion Erickson, Mrs. Lawrence Davis and Ralph Davis, who sang “Heaven”, “What A Friend We Have In Jesus.” “Sweet By and Bye” and “Precious Memories.” Mr. R. C. McKee accompanied at the piano. Burial was in the New Site Cemetery under direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home. Research Note: Arthur Elmon Robberson died Nov. 2, 1959. His wife was Artie Mary Wormington. |
