| Text | Bert Riggins, a former Barry County boy, who was a freight conductor running out of Winslow, Ariz., was killed in a wreck Friday, of last week. His body was prepared for burial and shipped to Exeter, arriving there the first of the week. Bert was partly raised by the Foster family on Washburn Prairie and was well and favorably known in the Washburn Prairie locality. He was a splendid young man and his many friends in this county will be grieved to learn of his death. Mrs. Riggins is a daughter of Mrs. Bridgman of near Exeter. Buried at Mapkewood Cemetery in Exeter, MO. |
